When Wee Sing Collides with Madison Avenue

So this commercial for some fast food restaurant comes on, advertising a bacon cheddar ranch burger. The jingle sounds vaguely like some kid's song I've heard recently...but where? Audrey perks up, listens, and suddenly goes to her room and puts in her Wee Sing CD. A few minutes later she comes out saying, "Mom, Big Rock Candy Mountain is on! Just like the commercial!" Oh yeah...that's where I've heard that.

I've never understood that line in it that goes "In the Big Rock Candy Mountain you never change your socks..." Eh? I don't get it. Wouldn't they start to stink?

The baby has been sick all day, congested and a little feverish. She seemed better by dinnertime, but then she filled her diaper (twice) and threw up all over her jammies. Now she is sleeping, blessed sleeping baby! How different she is from Audrey as a baby, who only slept in arms or if I was right next to her.
