Burning questions

1. Will my four-year-old ever learn to brush her teeth without smearing blue toothpaste all over the bathroom counter?
2. Will my husband ever learn to put clean dishes away in their proper places so that I can find them when I need them?
3. Will the cats ever stop throwing up on the beige carpet in the living room and dining room?

And of course, the most vital...
4. Will the baby ever let me get 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep?

1. No. Well, not at 10 anyway. I'll let you know if 11 is the magic age. He's 11 next month, so I'm thinking not so much.

2. No. The only way to maybe make this work it to put away something of HIS in the wrong place. Then work out a compromise.

3. Maybe. I used to put butter on my cats paws, that would help with throwing up hairballs.

4. I hear duct tape works wonders. I use it to tape up their mouths, hands and feet, place them under the bed, and I have so much quiet! :-)

Wow, I can relate to everything you wrote about today. I do mean everything.

Here's what I've come to discover:

Husbands will never learn
Kids won't until it's their house and they have to clean it up.
Cat's love to throw up all over the place, especially nice new places.
Sleep? What's sleep?

I wrote a post 4 hours ago and it isn't here..ok..I'll risk a double.

First, it has been a bad cat day in blogger land..me OWWWW

1)Buy toothpaste that matches your bathroom countertop or change countertop to the color of your toothpaste...which ever is most cost efficient.

2)No

3)No. Buy beige catfood.

4) You are so very close to 8 and even 9 hours of sleep. Bless all the mothers...hardest job, cheapest pay, least amount of sleep BUT the most rewarding.

Sorry if this is a double post.

laurenbove, silly me...you're right, what IS sleep? Why am I writing about something I haven't experienced in so long that I don't remember what it is?

marybishop, does yellow toothpaste exist? And about your answer to #4...you are so right, especially the last part!
