I did it
I filled out an online application to volunteer for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Indianapolis. Leo and I were having a "discussion" today (OK, an argument) about how much time he gets to spend on his passions, and how little I do, so he told me to go ahead and do Habitat. I'm not sure if he really thought I would...but I did. I figure he can carve out a three hours a week to allow me to drive up there, do some work, and drive back.
Now I'm just waiting to hear back from them.

Good for you! I laid brick in a Habitat house in Baltimore City a few years back. Who knew I could lay brick?! But I did, and I loved it. Other, regular volunteer responsibilities have taken H4H's place with me, but I will do it again some day. Wonderful experience.
OMG! WOW. I have always wanted to do that...esp. when I was in architecture school. damn. I'm totally jealous.
HURRAY! This season for Leo IS a busy one as he gets his business going, but you deserve some time too! Hurray for you to get to do something!
