The object of my affection

This is Hilger House.

The picture doesn't really do it justice, I think. I wish I could take pictures of the inside to post, but since it's still occupied, I would not feel right doing that. (I got this picture from the online listing.)

It's getting bad. I am finding myself daydreaming about living in this house.

But I am not in love with the house. Oh no. No no no. It's just a casual thing, a fling, if you will. I can give it up if I want to, anytime.

And my biggest fear is that someone will buy it before we're ready to.

The Jur family could come live there for weeks at a time and you'd never notice we were there until your Simon & Garfunkel albums came up missing... and the Jur brother called... and Aislinn and her boyfriend Mark were caught looking at each other and grinning...

"I'm not in love" is a crap song. Of course you're in love with it. It looks wonderful. I hope you get it, or one you love even more.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and the fam ;)

(gotta love a house with a NAME)

That house is made to be in love with.
I was thinking the same thing Susie said.
Side note: My oldest and I were listening to the radio the other day and no good songs were on...he said, its all crap music.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Not that you're in love or anything, but hopefully next Thanksgiving you'll be in your new Hilger house. :-)

Andrea, cool blog.

That house is gorgeous. I just got down to southern Indiana for the first time last September. Nice place.

I hope you end up in the Hilger House. It's magnificent.
