Progesterone is also good and normal, but I will be staying on the pregesterone prescription for a while yet.

I called and left a message with my midwife today. I even told Audrey that I'm pregnant. I guess I'm feeling very good about things, because I don't think I would have done either of these things if I was worried. I'm going to take a quick trip up to surprise my mom on Mother's Day and tell my parents then.

My only worry at this point is that a negative outcome for the other midwife's trial (scheduled for this summer, last I heard) could adversely affect *my* midwife's comfort in attending this birth. There were rumors a while back that the state attorney general might be considering issuing cease and desist orders for all CPMs in the state. I told Leo long before I got pregnant, though, that I'm doing this at home no matter what. I did not have two wonderful home births so I could go to the hospital for the third.
