Babycenter baloney
I'm conservative enough (or some might say "liberal") in what I believe about pregnancy that I don't trust babycenter.com for much more than keeping track of how far along I am and what I might expect to happen around what time. Today, though, I read the 14-weeks-along page and had to laugh.
It must be someone who's never been pregnant (like, say, a male OB??) who writes some of this stuff. Sorry buddy. I have most definitely been feeling this baby move from about 9 weeks, and felt the first actual tap a few days ago. Don't tell me it's gas. I have done this three times already, seven if you count my miscarriages, and I really think I know the difference between gas and baby movement!
You still can't feel your baby's movements, but her hands and feet (which are now half an inch long) are more flexible and active.

I had to laugh at the same thing, both on BabyCenter and all the books; you sure feel things (and recognize them) sooner when you know what you're looking for. Around the time they were saying "You might be able to feel something in a couple weeks or so", Little Harold/Haroldina was playing racquetball in there... whatever...
