leihuaile

"Leihuaile" is a Chinese word which, broken down, contains the words "tired" and "broken". It's precise translation is "exhausted". Very appropriate, and that's how I feel. Yesterday I packed 11 boxes, mostly in our bedroom. This process was interrupted by a trip to the Social Security Office (coincidentally in C_, the town we're moving to) because the bank doing the loan for our house says they have found my social security number attached to a different name, which means they are requiring verification from the SS Office that this number has indeed been assigned to ME. The incident of my number with the other name is linked to a date FOUR YEARS AGO. Aside from my concern that someone else may indeed be using my number, I'm annoyed that we have refinanced with this bank several times in the past few years, and this has never come up before. Of course, it would have to be on the loan attached to buying a new house. Of course. Because buying and moving into a new house is not stressful enough. I had to wait an hour, but got the letter of verification in less than five minutes once my number was called. And at least Leo was home to watch Aislinn, so I did not have to drag her along with me, which would have made the entire two-hour ordeal (including driving time) seem like four hours.

Already today I have packed 10 boxes, mostly from Audrey's room (pretty bad when a kid's bedroom requires as many boxes as the master bedroom...and neither are completely finished), but I think I will stop at that. Audrey will be home in 20 minutes, and both kids need a bath before Audrey and I head to AWANA in C_ tonight.

I'm glad we are moving to a town that *has* AWANA; Audrey and I have both enjoyed it so much (I was the leader of her Cubbies club when she first started). There's no way we would have been able to drive half an hour and back to F_ (where we are moving from) every week during the school year. Since the main reason for such a big move is so we don't have to be on the road so much, it would not have been practical. I may have to make the trip for my chiropractor appointments, though. He is having a hard time finding someone good to refer me to in C_, not to mention that even though our insurance doesn't cover chiropractic, I only have to pay $30 a visit. Yeah, I think I'll still be coming. At least until I give birth, when my back won't be killing me so bad anyway.

I was wondering just today how the move was going... It is such a stressful time, but it's also such a good thing! I mean, new house! Yippeee!!

Well, just to add *another* thing "you" have to do, tell Leo that all he has to do is let Tim know when to expect him to come get your new pool table. Just if you ever decide to get rid of it, give us a chance to claim it back? And let us use it when we come to visit. :)

That is so scary that your SSN was linked to someone else- and it took that long to find out!

I'm so excited for you moving to your new home. I'm also sorry that you have to pack and physically move. That is not fun, especially with 2 little ones and one baking in the oven.

I hope you can take some time to get some rest inbetween life.

Hugs to you.
