I am BACK (or rather, my energy is)
Monday:
The normal, everyday stuff that is mentioned in there should give you some idea how dead I have been in the past few weeks. If Leo didn't do it, it didn't get done. Oh, I might have managed to cook a meal here and there or emptied the dishwasher. But not much else.
Now I remember why I have always loved the second trimester of pregnancy. And have not forgotten why I am hiring a new internist.
- Cleaned the bathroom (except for the tub...that will come).
- Swiffered every public room.
- Spot mopped the kitchen and dining room (where the food gets dropped).
- Cleared off the dining room table (again...it is a clutter MAGNET).
- Made the freakin' BED (where I have not even been sleeping the past few weeks, in my attempts to night-wean Aislinn).
- CLEARED OFF THE WASHER AND DRYER which have been even bigger clutter magnets because the dryer has been broken (no heat) for several weeks, meaning I have been trying to bury it to avoid dealing with it (laundry has been done by just tumbling wet clothes in it for five hours or so, or taking it to the laundromat. And then slowly watching our underwear run out.)
- Called to get someone to come fix the dryer.
- Cooked dinner.
- Worked out at Curves.
- Washed the dishes, wiped down all the counters.
- Wiped down the non-burner area of the stove (see today for the burner areas).
- Folded a mountain of laundry that had been sitting in our room since the trip to the laundromat last week (last time any laundry was done) and put it all away.
- Did three days worth of a Bible study I am way behind on (and YIKES! I have to make a dessert for it for tomorrow! Gotta get on that in a minute).
- Cleared and wiped the table after every meal.
- Emptied and ran the dishwasher (twice).
- Worked out at Curves.
- Washed dishes, wiped down counters, wiped down the sections of the stove that are under the burners.
- Cleared and wiped the table after every meal.
- DID THREE LOADS OF LAUNDRY because the repairman came and fixed the dryer! (ok, 2 1/2, one load is still sitting in the washer...and YIKES! some stuff in there will wrinkle, gotta get on THAT in a minute too). And he fixed it for less than a hundred bucks, labor included! We were sweating that it was just dead; it's 8 or 9 years old, and should be going any time now. But it was just the heating coils!
- Decluttered a shelf in my kitchen.
- Cooked dinner
- Gave Aislinn a bath.
