Welcome to a work in progress
We got hit with Vacation Bible School this week, or VBS as it's commonly known around here. Audrey had a blast, as she usually does, although since our church has been having it in the evenings the past few years, the late nights left Aislinn (who came with me so I could float and help out) in quite a funk. No matter; she's almost recovered.
The theme for the week was Construction Zone, and I wish I had a picture of Darrel the Barrel, our mascot, to share. But you'll have to content yourself with Audrey and the dress-up freebies she came home with: hard hat, goggles, and tool apron. They decorated the hat with stickers in her class, and once she got home she decided the goggles needed a bit of color as well. I think she's adorable (if I do say so myself), even if apparently a walking advertisement for Lowe's.

Way adorable! The last picture...I love the look she has on her face.
What a sweetie! She didn't put more stickers on the part where she looks out of the goggles--that's one smart girl there!
Children sure do have fun with whatever we hand over.
Ahh, VBS. I worked in the kitchen for ours--we served Supper! so that the folks could come directly from work and daycare and have fun in the evenings.
Absolutely adorable pictures of your little construction worker!
What a good mommy to make these important events last forever by taking photos.
Aww, she is so cute! VBS brings back so many memories for me. We used to go to a huge, multi-church VBS when I was a kid, and the whole sanctuary was filled with kids during the singing parts at the beginning and end.
