Here's to jeans with a zipper
Today I decided to try to put on a pair of "normal" jeans instead of the maternity jeans with elastic waistband I've been wearing for the last 9 months (I did indeed have to switch to maternity almost as soon as I knew I was pregnant). Much to my suprise and glee...they fit!
To be fair, they cannot truly be called "pre-pregnancy jeans", because they are not the size I was wearing when I got pregnant. I still have 8 pounds to go before I even hit that *weight*. But they are the first jeans I wore when I quit wearing maternity after Aislinn was born, bought simply because I could not stand another day of maternity jeans. However, this was a full two months after Aislinn was born. Arwyn is now a mere month old.
Thank you, Curves!
It is snowing like the dickens here, and also very, very cold. Yesterday Audrey's school was delayed 2 hours (did I write that yesterday??) for the cold, and since it was just as cold or colder this morning, I was surprised they did not delay school again today. Then I guessed (correctly) that the superintendent must have anticipated CLOSING school EARLY today, due to the coming snow, and wanted to get the "full" half day in so they would not have to make up a day later in the year. Silly, I think...that's what built-in snow make-up days are for. Whatever. She got home in time to go to a Chinese buffet with us for lunch, and was thrilled to do so because they only had *8 minutes* to eat their lunch at school!
