But first, an update: we have a buyer for the old house. I'm not entirely happy with it, because her initial feedback was 100% negative, so we were shocked that she wanted a second showing, let alone that she made an offer. And we are taking a couple thousand less than what we thought our lowest would be. But it will mean we will not have a tight winter, as we thought we would. But the thought of someone inhabiting the house where two of my children were born, someone who does not seem to love the house and who insulted us with a crackpot lowball first offer...well, it doesn't make me happy. But I am glad that we don't have to wait for spring for a buyer.
